Pop Up Store

Beak St, London UK

Columbia Records and Sony Music collaborated with Pop Store for Bob Dylan’s ‘Tempest’ pop up store.

Four store’s openings were coordinated around the world, on the same day, in London, Los Angeles, New York and Berlin.

The design of the store was modern and monochrome. There was a distinct nod to Dylan’s American heritage, with neon signage, leather seating and vintage furniture. Fans queued all night to be the first to have access to limited edition products, a full back catalogue of vinyls and enjoy a mini cinema which played Dylan films, alongside unseen footage of Dylan’s performances.

Pop Store undertook the sourcing of the location, negotiating the lease, design and build, hiring and managing of staff and in-store events. Pop Store handled stock management, from stock control, stock sale reports and post store reporting.
