Trend – Woggles – By Tender & Hill Side

These are the coolest accessories for men folk we have spotted this week. Campaign – Stussy – Fall 2011

Stussy have enlisted the photographic talents of Peter Sutherland for their men’s fall 2011 lookbook. For the shoot, Sutherland took a bunch of the models out into the desert, presenting the streetwear label’s new collection with a classic American, outdoor-inspired aesthetic. UNIQLO POP UP STORES NYC…UNIQLO is happy to announce the opening of four state-of-the-art pop up Brand Shops to celebrate the new UNIQLO Flagships opening on Fifth Avenue at 53rd Street and 34th Street Herald Square this fall. New Yorkers will enjoy the many shopping locations throughout NYC where they will receive the best in customer service and top notch clothing. The pop-up UNIQLO Brand Shop located in the Flat Iron at 155 Fifth Avenue, just opened; it will be followed by a second located at 1880 Broadway, and then followed by a third location at 2385 Broadway. Event – Damien Hirst Exhibition -The Complete Spot Paintings 1986 – 2011

Location: Gagosian Gallery, London Date: 12 January, 2012 – 18 February, 2012 To all you Damien Hirst Lovers “The Complete Spot Paintings 1986 – 2011” – a new solo show from the acclaimed British artist Damien Hirst. The exhibition is planned to take place simultaneously across all of the eleven Gagosian Gallery locations Worldwide. The gallery will even be borrowing pieces from both public institutions and private collections, as well as from the artist himself. This is the first time Gagosian Gallery has dedicated all locations to a body of work by one artist.

Branding – Documentary – Passion Of The Craft

This short documentary ‘Passion Of The Craft’ first started when BANDIT – a strategic ideas agency in Copenhagen – realised their clients rarely understand the link between the lives of their consumers, and their brand. Because of this they decided to go on “a journey to find like minded individuals in fashion, branding, media, photography, marketing and design.” This is a great insight to Branding and we thought some of you would like to take a look… [vimeo]

Art – Vogue Covers from 2010 – Shrubrub

A LiveJournal user called Shrubrub has created some collages by stacking up every single 2010 Vogue cover from all over the world to arrive to the image below, where she’s pretending to see what would appear as Virgin Mary (I guess I could see that too). She also stacked up the covers country by country, creating more interesting results and as you can see the logo does not move a hair. Clever stuff!

Pop Up Shop – New York – Nicola Formichetti

Nicola Formichetti Pop-up 57 Walker St., nr. Broadway, Tribeca, NYC Date: Opening 8th September 2011  Aside from slagging off old or fat people, creative director and stylist to Lady Gaga, Nicola Formichetti is due to open his first POP UP! We’re v. excited to see the results!! Here is the first look image (via The Cut) at the rendering for the shop, designed by architects Mark Foster Gage and Marc Clemenceau Bailly of Gage/Clemenceau.

So we thought we’d give you a sneak peak of our addition to the up-and-coming Wildfox section at Harrods, we designed this sign exclusively for the LA Vintage Knitwear brand.

Interior – Tokyo – Godiva Chocoiste by Wonderwall

We’ve been taking a look back to 2009 for this inspiration interior. This was the design for Godiva’s concept flagship store. Godiva’s idea was “treat thyself”. Wonderwall’s intention was to add a breath of fresh air to the more traditional image Godiva instill.  The shop features humorous design details such as the “melting chocolate” ceiling combined with the primarily classical interior design. This is a very bold texture must create a massive visual impact on all visitors. Take a look…
